The Scandinavian consists of two 18-hole golf courses designed by Bruce Charlton of Robert Trent Jones II Golf Course Architects. The courses are built on former military practice grounds and are laid out in the beautiful undulating country side with old woodland and several small lakes in a Park Course design feel. Old Course opened for play in 2010 and New Course in 2011.

The Scandinavian is located north of Copenhagen in Allerød which is approximately thirty minutes from the city center or the airport.

The Scandinavian is an exclusive and privately owned golf club. In addition to the two top quality golf courses the grounds includes a driving range, practice course, two putting greens a clubhouse(desinged by Henning Larsen Architects, 2010) and a guest house.

In 2011 both courses at The Scandinavian were new entries in Golf World`s bi-annual " Top 100 Golf Courses Continental Europe" . Old Course entered at number 15 and New Course as number 34. In 2010 Old Course was nominated as one of the Top 10 " Best New International Courses" by GOLF Magazine, USA.
